Editing a file
Click a value, type a new one, and press Enter. Your original file is not touched. You download an edited copy when you are done.
What can I change?
- Any print setting or metadata field, in the
<metadata>element the 3MF Core Specification defines. - The file name, from the header.
- Files inside the archive, from the Raw tab.
- The whole profile, with Convert.
Why is a value amber or red?
Amber means the value works but is spelled oddly, like 15 without its %.
Red means the slicer reads a different number or the value is out of range.
Hover the value to see why. Press Enter on it to fix the spelling.
How do I undo a change?
Open the tab named after your file. Each change has a Revert button, and you can revert them in any order. Revert all restores the original. It asks first: the button turns into Yes, revert all, and a second click reverts. Press Escape or click anywhere else to keep your changes.
How do I read a tooltip on a phone?
Hold your finger on a button for half a second, and its tooltip shows. Moving your finger cancels it, and the button does not fire.
How do I save?
Click Download 3MF under the change list. The copy is named
yourfile_modified.3mf.
Do changes survive closing the tab?
Yes. The change list is saved with the file in your browser.
